kioti ck30
Hello I have been an occasional visitor here for several years. I have found it helpful to look over your posts in the past.

I have a Kioti CK30. The joystick for the bucket is broken. I have the replacement package. I cannot figure out how to install it. Here is what I found on another thread posted by 1wheeler 1:

Part Number is Daedong 26001-0090 Cinematic Kit. Since I didn't have a manual installing it the first time was a learning experience. Here's the overview of how I would do it again with what I know now.

1. Removed the seat for easy access
2. Removed the two bolts that attach the joystick assembly to the body.
3. Once the joystick it detached from the body the rubber boot can be removed.
4. Remove the joystick lever and boot.
5. Remove the allen bolt under the assembly that holds the fixed pivot point.
6. Loosen the lock nuts on the cables attached to the assembly.
7. Screw the cable adjustment threads on the cables into the assembly until the fixed joystick pivot part that attaches to the joystick assembly with the allen bolt is raised enough for the fixed post to be removed from the main assembly and removed from joystick pivot altogether.
8. Remove the pivot part from the other two pivot balls attached to the cables.
9. Pull the cables down through the entire assembly and remove the old ball/posts.
10. Install the new ball/posts on the cables and reinsert back through the whole assembly.
11. Then pretty much reassemble in the reverse order.

I am stuck on #7. Does the fixed post come up out of the top of the assembly? Then the other two posts slide down through the bottom of the assembly?

Hi and welcome. I had the same problem with my ck20 and will tell you what I did.
First, I broke mine by getting off of the "wrong" side of my tractor. I kinda jumped off of the right side while wearing short denim pants. My pants leg caught on the top of the handle and pulled it right off of the plastic balls. I popped it back on but it kept popping off. I couldn't get mine apart either. Finally, frustrated I loaded it up and hauled it nearly an hour to my dealer. They put the new parts on it in short order and didn't charge me anything but the price of the parts. I now never get on or off of the tractor on the right side.

I am in the market for a ck30. wanna sell your broken one?:D

Thanks for the welcome. I have mine torn apart in the driveway, so I don't think that I will be taking it to the dealer.

Give me another year and I will let you know about selling mine. Some of the little things that are going wrong with it are starting to get to me, but not enough to sell it yet.

Mousefield, I was able to get the stationary post out. I still do not know exactly how to remove the other two. How do I disconnect the cables? I turned them in quite a ways. There is still 1/2 inch or so of threads showing. Do I need to turn them in more?

I got them off lat last night. Thank you for the help. In looking for the answers here on some other posts I ran into some discussions about the float. Mine has never worked. Once I get this put back together, I might start looking into the float. It would sure be nice to get it to work.

I have used the float a number of times, comes in handy when leveling dirt/gravel. When you push the lever fully forward you should feel it "lock" a bit. :)

when I push the stick fully forward, it lifts the front of the tractor up and then releases. I thought that this was in float, but it tends to dig in. When I bought the tractor, I thought I would be able to move snow with it, but the bucket tears things up too much.

You may need to adjust the level of your bucket, if angled down when moving forward it will dig in/down. Try it at level or just a tad up. See if that works better for you. :)
