I just called about getting my tires loaded, I'm expecting delivery next week. I got a price of $150. for both with calcium chloride. The tire man recommends that the tires be tubed. Do new 15x19.5 industrial tires for a kioti ck35 come tubed?
Should I look elsewhere and get rimguard instead?

CaCl is corrosive. Depending on costs, I'd go with tubes or a less corrosive fluid. Mine are filled with a glycol mix (no tubes, I think).

Personally I would go with rimguard or some other non corrosive fill. if you are going to run CaCl then you will need to tubes. The other think to consider is if the tube leaks inside of a normally tubeless tire, you may not know there is a problem until the corrosion eats threw the rim.

Most dealers will fill with water/antifreeze or windshield washer mix for free. For more weight, I'd spend the money on Rimguard instead of CaCl, and skip tubes. That way, they just have to fill the tires and not mess with remounting them to get a tube in.

IMHO go with Rimguard. It will keep your rims from rusting out.

I've read other posts about guys filling their own tires with windshield washer anti freeze fluid. I just priced 55 gallons of it and it was $180.00 at grainger. Are there any other places to get it cheaper?

Tractor Supply just had a sale at 2 for 3.00$. You should be able to get it at less than 2.00 a gallon easy.

Not sure where you live, but if in cold climate, make sure you get the WW fluid that is good to -40 or so.

Starting about this time of year, you start to see alot of the +32 stuff come out. And if you dont pay attention, you wont realize you messed up til next winter

WWF, how toxic is it if I get a leak? How many gallons per tire would I need? 15x19.5?

Get 'em foam filled and never have to worry about them leaking.corrosion, getting punctured etc.

How much weight will foam filled add?One would think not much?

Foam filling is 1.5 times the weight of liquid CaCL2 or washer fluid. I had the fronts on my CK20 filled because the 2465 BH is so heavy the front end floated when going up hills with an empty bucket. They now weigh over 100lbs each. Helped some.

I need 29 gallons per 15x19.5 tire. I found a rim-guard dealer. Cost per tire =$100.00 total $200.00
This will add 310 pds. per tire.
I think I'll go this route. thanks all

Foam really isnt the best decriptive term. Its more like a liquid urethane rubber they pour in and it cures making it like a solid rubber tire. I priced to have the fronts of my kubota done. They are a very small 7x16 tire. Smaller than a typical truck tire in terms of volume. It was something like 89# per tire. So yea, its heavy.

Ld1 is right about foam filled tires except they match the resiliency of the foam to approximate the flex of an air filled tire. Running foam filled on the road is undetectable from running normal tire. So they are not like a solid fork lift tire when you drive them.

I will be looking into getting the tires on my new Kioti loaded here soon and would like to know more info on this foam So if anyone has any good informative links or knows a place in N east Pa that does it I would be very helpful for me

I purchases my ck35hst from Hansen Equipment Inc. in Forest City, PA. I had the rear tires filled with Rim Guard. Ty and his wife own and run the business and Ty is the only person who works on the equipment. Every time I stop in he has a couple tractors of all different colors split in half. Some colors he doesn't even sell. I'm not sure if he uses the urethane filler but he is very knowledgable and I'm sure he can set you in the right direction.

The rim-guard dealer who quoted me 100/tire was in Honesdale, Pa.

Thanks for the info I will call Hansen EQ and talk with them they were easy to look up.

Chuck could you maybe pass along the name of the business or even a phone number? It would be much more helpful than just the name of the town.
