I picked up my new 51" Meteor Snow Blower yesterday for use on my 2210. I have no experience with the rear PTO and I want to make sure the shaft length is correct.

I'm guessing the shaft is too long as is. It needs to be fully collapsed to put it on and once its on it might be expanded about 1". This is with the blower and tractor shafts lined up. Should there be more play in there? I thought you wanted more like 3"?

thanks,
Jon

Starting on page 7 of THIS manual it is detailed how to measure and cut them.

Thanks Kennyd.
It doesn't sound too hard to cut the thing, but I think I might try it after putting my I-Match back on. That might move it the couple inches I need to not have to mess with it at all which would be preferred.
