New small Kubota's now have a proprietary hydraulic coupler

Guys pull your panties out of your crack there are literally hundreds of "proprietary" coupler designs out there and frankly I dislike pioneers because they piss out oil every time you uncouple. Flatfaced couplers work better but are a PITA to couple when the lines are under pressure.

If the K ones work better great, if not they come off and FF couplers go on just like I did with my pioneers.

I see that now Landpride / Great Plains / Kubota implements are all shipping with flat faced couplers. That don't work for me but changeout is not expensive anyway. I'll stick with Pioneer. Don't mind the minute leak on changeout.

Yes, but some one said the the hole spacing was too small for Pioneer couplers. I'm not crazy about the leak but they are the easiest couple I've ever owned. Still have flat faced couplers on the Skid Steer - just to remind me how much I prefer the Pioneers.

I have never heard this before. They are pioneer couplers. I wonder if some inexperienced tech had a hard time getting something to connect and drew their own conclusions.

Don't own a skid steer anyway. All pioneer here. Like I said, the little leak when changing out is inconsequential to me in as much as I have 15 gallons in the gear cases.

Never heard of what? That Great Plains are shipping new equipment with flat faced couplers. They are. Just bought a new GP implement and it came in with flat faced couplers that my dealer changed to pioneer. Far as I'm concerned, flat faced couplers belong on a skid, not on a farm tractor. JMO.
