We are building on a hilltop
I like taking the high ground too. We used to live next door, which is a couple hundred feet down the road in the "holler". The difference in sunlight exposure makes a world of difference on my wife's (and my) mental health - especially on this day, the shortest of the year.

Got a little mud on the tires today. Put a couple hours on big red tearing down a big dirt pile that came about from parts of the driveway being cut in and the septic system being installed.

No issues with a full loader full of wet clay soil and field rocks. Went around the property checking on things, and found the stability on hills to be great as well.

Smiling ear to ear so far.

Great weekend to you folks!

Congrats - looks very nice!

I have seen them at our local RK store - they look really impressive ... however, I would prefer HST

That is one awesome looking tractor. Is the bucket level? J/k.

I've seen the issues some of you have had with your buckets, but yes mine appears to be all good.

Alrighty folks, this RK74 is working out very nicely. Have close to 30 hours on the ticker now, and a bunch more are planned over the coming week as I move 22 ton worth of 1-2 foot boulders onto a hillside near my driveway, put in 40 new fence posts, and finish hauling a bunch of oak logs up to the hilltop.

The loader is very strong and the tractor always feels planted and sure footed. The RK tiller did a fine job turning the soil for my food plot planting later this year.

The Deutz fired up with no issues at 12 degrees the other morning, just a few seconds on the ole glow plugs. Starting to get a lot colder around these parts now - we were getting a real treat with the warmer weather until just recently.

A couple snapshots for your viewing pleasure.

Looks like a nice tractor, when you are running that tiller, adjust the top link so the tiller sits level in the ground.

That's the position it's suppose to be in when running.
