I need/want some new tires for the Rhino. I am looking at 26" and have narrowed my decision down to ITP Terra Cross or the Maxxis Bighorn.

Any thoughts on either of these tires. The ITP's are a little more expensive.

I have the ITP mudlites and they are awesome.

My next set I will get the same size all the way around.

I have 27/10/12 and 27/12/12's.

I have the Mudlites also. I bought them mostly for plowing the snow off my 2.5 mile driveway and they work great in the snow. i would highly recommend them.

My buddy has had both the terra cross and the Bighorns and they seem to wear kinda quickly compared to the Mudlites.
They are all great tires however. I guess it all just comes down to preference.

i was thinkin the same thing skip .i'm gonna go with a 10'' wide tire all the way around when i change tires . ilooked at some kenda exacutioners this weekend they were some 25'' man them things werer awsomethey had the same thead dept as my 27'' 589's but they were 25''and i liked the pattern of the treads. they were really agressive. so i think when my 27''589's wear down i will g with some26'' executioners or maybe some 25''. i like how the 589's wear down really slow . does anyone have any exsperiense with the executioner tires??? they felt hard like the 589's the only problem with them that i see is they would give you one heck of a rough rde on a hard surface.lol

if your goin for mud you want a widely spaced tread it will clean out faster the terra cross seems to be a rock crawler tire and trail tire. let us know how it does.

I chose the ITP Terra Cross. $780 for the set 26x9x14 and 26x11x14. I hope this handle the job.

I will be mainly packed trail riding. I will not have much muck, deep mud, or water. The only question I have is how they handle the snow. I use the Rhino for plowing the driveway.

looks like they should do really well. with them side lugs they should grab pretty good and snow should sling off alot easier than mud so you should be good to go.they should give a smooth ride on hard ground too.

highly recomend the terra cross for your rhino, they run smooth get good traction. haven't been in deep mud but did fine in5-8 inches, cleats stayed reasonably clean
