The RopsRackPack gives you many different ways to secure your hand tools and power tools using our D-Rings. The intent is not to have you mow properties with tight areas. The intent is to be able to safely and securely be able to transport your tools or anything else you may need to an area that is far away from your truck or barn etc... You can secure the items you attach very well so they do not bounce around at all using the MEGA Gear tie (look on my site) trust me it won't move at all... I have spent countless hours testing this it's not a fly by night product we have engineered this to work and work very well. You can mount your tools or trimmer many different ways like facing them forward then you would use one of my S-biners or Carabiner hooks on the motor end and then gear tie the front then you would never hit anything being that the whole trimmer is well inside the wheel wells. (see pic attached) It's a great item and does what it is intented to do, stop people from trying to transport hand tools and power tools on their lap from one spot to another. We will have many differnet items coming out to used with the RopsRackPack, like heavy duty bags to hold and secure you chainsaw as well as cases to hold your cell phone water bottle gloves etc....because there is no where to carry any of this stuff on a tractor or zero turn mower.. All the best!Thank you for your interest.

Not impressed....

I broke off a $127 taillight/turnsignal assembly that did not stick out near as far as a weed wacker or shovel or rake would.... Don't think it would work anyplace that was other than open ground with maybe tall grass.... If trees around, it is poor way to carry tools...

So much for a friendly site...I guess I will take your advice and ignore you ... But I must say if your smashing your own taillight you may need a driving lesson.....LOL

I don't have a problem with the width. I can see carrying tools there instead of a trailer if you have a larger property, or if you travel to a neighbor's place to mow. Once you get to the work area, you unload the same as you would detaching a trailer. My main issue is that the tools don't seem to be supported firmly. Unless I'm missing something, they're just bungie corded which will allow them to hang upside down potentially spilling fuel or flooding carbs. I want them held firmly and upright.

You can fasten the tools many different ways that is the beauty of it. For instance, when I attach my trimmer I use 1 #5 S-Biner I hook the top to the D ring on the RopsRackPack then I hook the other end of the S-biner to the loop one the trimmer(motor side). For the other end of the trimmer I use 1 Loopable Mega Gear tie, I loop it though the D ring then wrap it around the trimmer shaft and go right around the roll bar then you can tie the gear tie right back around to itself, this will keep the trimmer from going up and down and side to side. The gear ties are amazing they are sticky rubber with a metal wire inside you can reuse them time and time again, you can twist down on them and make it as tight as you like. You can also use the larger S-biners like the number 10 to hang larger items like a spray cans or ropes and many other things. I am a tractor guy I use this stuff it is truly based on my needs and real life use. One thing I often use it for is when I am using my posthole digger, I always need a rake, shovel, gloves etc…. I can attach it right to the back of the machine using the RopsRackPack. Then it is right there when I need it. (look on my site I have many pics). I have tested this with many others for countless hours it works very well. We will have many tool bags and other accessories coming out to mate up with RopsRackPack. Thank you

I think it's a pretty good idea. I can see it for having hand tools, like a tree loper, shovel, rake etc. Hang a Bluetooth speaker.

Have you done any long term testing in weather with it? Just wonder how long it would hold up on a machine parked outside. Full sun, rain, then more full sun seems to kill nylon fabrics very quickly around here.

I kind of like that it's not a permanent modification, looks like a quick and easy way to hang some stuff from the ROPS, and appears to be useful even with ROPS folded - something other more permanent shelf-type caddies probably couldn't do.

Is it strong enough that a 20' chain or two could stay hung from it all the time? 2 chains a decent amount of weight....no good place for chains to go is an issue I have often if I don't have ballast box on 3pt.

Thanks NBKING ! Funny you said that I actually hang a Bluetooth speaker off of mine, becasue of the location of it you can hear it really well. Nice to have it there to stream off of your phone when you are working in your yard. Pic attached from one of my prototypes.

Hi CNV great question! Yes we have done a lot of testing on this, we have done salt spray testing and it will hold up! We use a heavy duty ballistic nylon that is UV protected with an industrial strength hook/loop closure. It can handle a lot of wheight you don't want to go crazy with all the weight on one side you should try to balance it like anyting else. Thank you for your interest.
