New pricing on john deere 4120

As anyone used the "build your own" lately in the John deere website? It is showing $3k more for the base price on a 4120 compared to a month ago. I can't believe that they would increase the price that much for a 2014 vs a 2013 model? These as far as I know don't have the new tier iv engine. Doing the 3000 series for 2014 but not the 4000. I'm going to my dealer tomorrow to see what's going on.

Not sure what happened but tried it again and now the price is ok. Matches what I saw earlier in the year.

I spoke with a John Deere factory rep. at a Deere test drive in Houston in the spring of 2013. He told me that 4120-4520s would be redesigned for 2014. I was going to buy a 2013 4120 but decided to wait for the 2014. I have not seen anything on the 2014 4120-4520s.

I know they are coming out with the new 3000 series called the 3r. Sounds like they are holding off in the 4000 series. Better get one soon, was told that the new tier 4 will add about 3k to the price.
