With the snow rapidly melting and the winter sports scene coming to an end we’ve decided to focus on a new pole barn this spring. At present, the plan is for a 32x60, 6/12, 2’OC trusses (70lb snow load), 11foot height, 2-10x9 OH doors, and one “human” entrance. The new barn will be used exclusively for equipment/implement storage on a crushed gravel floor as our primary wooden barn/garage is heated and already contains all my workshops. The construction firm of “Mom & Pop” will be utilized with the aid of a boom pole on our Kubota, “The Great Pumpkin”. 
Our intention is to purchase all the wood materials locally and purchase a complete metal cladding kit from an out of state supplier. I’ve read most of the informative archive material in the forum and this proved invaluable. This brings me to a couple of questions for forum members:
1. Has anyone felt to the need to go with 26 gauge metal over the standard 29 gauge metal cladding. If so, for what reasons?
2. Any negative or positive comments concerning metal cladding suppliers or the concept of ordering a complete cladding kit in this manner. Any pitfalls?
3. Specifically, has anyone ever dealt with the Michiana Building Supply Company?
4. Any additional constructive input would be appreciated.
