Gave my L3750 a fresh coat of paint. I removed the loader, all hydraulic hoses, cylinders, control valve and steel lines. The cab and front wheels were removed as well.
Sanded, primed and painted with oem kubota paint.
Thought it would be 2 weeks but working part time it was more like 6. This week the windshield , doors and heat will be installed and i will be ready to plow snow.
Everything done by this 73 year old man and it didn't kill me. Probably won't make a habit of it ,though.
I used a Devilbiss gravity feed spray gun and disposable cups and the cleanup was minimal.

Best to all,

Mick

Great job! Isn't it amazing how many surfaces there are when you get into it? Did you make the cab? And what's up with that QA loader connection - is it home-grown? I did an L3250 paint job myself a few years ago when I was 69 - moved quicker then :).

Thank you very much for posting these pics and starting this thread!!!! That right there is a classic!!!!! Thanks for restoring it to it's former glory. Those tractors defined dependability!!!!

That’s an outstanding job. Your attention to detail is impeccable.
Have you owned it since new?

Thanks for all your kind words.I am the 3rd owner of the tractor. The quick attach came from W.R. Long in N.C..I would not want to be w/o it.I have 5 other front attachments that I use with this tractor.
I made the cab myself and have since added doors and heat.We have a 1/2 mile drive to plow and maintain.I also harvest about 8-10 cord of firewood with this tractor and a KRPAN 3 pt. hitch winch. The tractor also is used to load my sawmill log deck.
I cannot say enough good things about this tractor and especially the hydraulic shuttle shift. The only thing I might replace it with would be an L4850 or L5450,only to gain more 3 pt. hitch lift and a larger hyd. pump.

Best regards,Mick Eckart

Another WOW! First I've seen of your tractor and it looks great. I've been collecting material for a similar "cab" for my Ford. Basically filling in from the ROPS forward. No need for heat down here but I had visions of a "freeze your walnuts" AC.

The paint job looks excellent from here. You done good! I've been working on mine since July.

Did you use glass or plastic for the windows?

You can probably refurbish the gray plastic console cover area with several hand rubbed applications of 3M 303 protectant.
It works wonders on revitalizing plastic and rubber parts.

I used lexan, doors are easily removed for warm weather and woods use.The rest of the panels come out as well.
fried1765 - good idea on the 3M product.

I've considered building a cab on my Ford. I'd do Jeep style hinges so all the panels could be removed leaving a four post canopy.

Have you got any pics with the "Winter" kit on? I'd like to look at (steal) ideas of how you did the doors, etc. Thanks!!!!

Wow, big job. That must make the OP smile every time he sees it now. Love the cab, it has a profile similar to an Amish buggy.

Now that you mention it does bear similarity to an Amish buggy.
I finished the door installation, heat, and and interior led strip light. Christmas ornaments are next !
Enjoy the pictures and thanks for your interest.

Excellent pics.

Do the front, sides and rear window simply clip in place somehow?

I can't think I'd ever want them to open. Simply have them on or off.

They are held in place by 1/2 turn buttons.
