New Oxy setup choices

I have my eye on a couple pieces.

does any one have thoughts on one or another of these?

i will be weiding 3/4" max from what I see now 1" or more welding capibility on the oa should keep me i think.

Top one you have listed looks to be the best deal IMHO.

I would look at Victor or Harris. They are more popular in the market and parts are avaiable at most welding supply stores.

Most of the " Copy Cat " Torches out there are Chinese Copies of Victor. Why would you suppose they copy Victor and Not Smith or Harris? The Torch is the most dangerous tool in your shop. Buy Wise..Buy Victor..:thumbsup:

USA made in Denton TX, and some of the Weldskill are assembled in our Mexico plant..

I am not knocking the Chinese products as a whole. Asia is a generation ahead of us in electronics. Torches are another matter.

if i would have found them a day or so earlier I really like the new regs victor came out with. with any thing you get some good and some bad... if it works out great if not then return it is...

The kit came in will get to test it tomorow for leaks... I hope it has some so i can return it and get the performer. sad part is if any part ever broke it would be cheeper to just get a 2nd kit. the regs are 120 a piece and the torch handle is 150 i think.
