New owner of Kioti DK40SE HST NOW WHAT?

Hey List,

Well I finally did it... I pulled the trigger and I am now a new owner of a new (2008) Kioti DK40SE HST. I got the FEL and a 7' rear blade. I was going to go with a Bobcat CT445, but it was 4k more, and I was really leaning toward a used New Holland 31horse power.. but it only had 3cyl .. so I went with Kioti.

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and am pretty excited. Any recommendations on what to check on the tractor before I sign the final papers?

I'll post pic's when I get er home.

Carry on,
Phill

Congrats and Welcome to the Pack!

I can't see much to check on a new tractor before taking delivery but I would certainly run it a little and dig into some dirt to make sure it's performing how you want. Get it up to temp and make sure the HST doesn't wine too much and be sure you are comfortable with the machine before signing.

Looking forward to pics!

As long as your comfortable on it and it runs like new without weird noises or problems (which it will) then get it home to play, i mean work.:D Nice choice of color to.:)

If they filled the rears on it, take it up to full speed on a roadway and listen/feel for vibration. I got mine home brand new and didn't notice that until I took it down the road. If they don't fill them and pressurize them correctly it may cause some excessive vibration. FWIW.

Although this sounds stupid, make sure the battery is bolted down properly, and the fluids are filled.
