New owner - first posting

After having researched it to death, I finally took the plunge and picked up a B7500. Thanks to the wealth of information I found on this site, it made the decision a little easier knowing that there is a fantastic "safety net" and knowledge base.
So here it is: I picked up a 2000 B7500HSD 4WD, 160 Hrs, LA302, L4672A w/ 14" bucket, Curtis soft side cab w/ heat & wiper all riding on R4's.

OK, profile has been filled out. I'm in western NJ near the Delaware river. It's kinda' strange, in that when it snows, it seems to snow more heavily on the plateau where we live. We typically get 2-6 inches more than the rest of the county for what ever reason.
As for the cab, well it was a real bonus. It was already on the tractor. I'm upgrading from 2 20+ yr old Simplicity L&G tractors that I picked up over the last 5 years, one of which I had installed an NOS cab, added an electric lift, ag tires, weights, and chains on it for snow blowing 800 ft of gravel driveways. That one also doubled as the soil preparator with a rear NOS tiller. The other was used for mowing with a deck mounted/powered turbo collector and bagging system.
Now I'm looking for a 6ft 3pt finsih mower and 4ft bush hog to handle the 2 acres of lawn, and 3 acres of horse pastures.

By the way, can that 7500HSD handle a 5ft bush hog? Dealer said 4 was the max due to power.

Really depends on what you will be cutting?5Ft should be ok for grass and such that is not to tall and tough, but for anything else 4 ft is probably better.

2 of the 3 acres for the pastures is way to big for the B7500 to handle. I'll have to borrow my nieghbors JD 2030 with an 8 ft bush hog to handle the wild rose. Once it's down and back to grass that's when the 7500 gets into the act.
