We do have a giant north American tractor network but a lot of euro too. I.e. deutz, fendt, MTZ. Price wise they are more competitive.

Size wise, I'm unsure but the 3PH lifts around 5.5 tons and optionally up to 6.3 tons. Front 3 point lifts 2 tons. The loader does about the same. 2.3 tons breakout I believe?

I think this places it above the 5 series in terms of lift capacity but less in terms of GPH oil flow. (JDs have optional high flow pumps ).

Size wise, I do find it "big" at times but that just means I need to cut a tree down or two extra than I normally would. Which is good because then a dump truck could take the same path without issues.

Interestingly it has a front and rear dif lock and 4 wheel brakes which not many American manufacturers have.

You have to have a support network to sell these things and interesting the Germans have not pushed their tractors much at all in the US. Anyone know why?

Now I could say I have a Lamborghini and a Porsche in my garage, and they wouldn't have to be cars either. Some cool old Euro tractors out there.

If you can stay off the lawn usually, weight is your friend.

The tractors are here in the US with a growing restructure of the brand. Two distributors are importing/selling the Deutz-Fahr tractor on the east and west coast respectively.
