New - New Holland Work Horse 3pt not working

A friend of mine just bought a New Holland WorkMaster 35, took it home yesterday and got a bush hog for it today. then attempted hook up the bush hog and the 3 point hitch went down and now it wont move or do any thing. Any Ideas...he checked the hyd valve under the seat and it is open....the wired part is the loader works fine it is just the 3 point lift??????? Please help

Not the same tractor at all, but I had the same issue out of mine upon delivery. Turned out with mine they had to crack open the rear lift housing and found an ORing that hadn't seated properly during assembly.

Sounds like maybe the power beyond plug in the joystick dual valve has popped out. If that happens, nothing beyond the FEL will work because all the hydraulic fluid is being dumped to the reservoir. If you can post a photo of the valve (especially the top where the joystick attaches) it would help us point toward where the power beyond plug is located. It's under a cover, so you have to remove the cover to find the loose plug beneath. The plug was probably poorly installed at the factory. This may not be the problem, but it sure sounds like it.

It was 2 "i assume hydro lines on the pump we reversed....he never even had to take it off the trailer. He's all fixed and ready to roll now.
