Hello all

New Canadian member here.
I have a Jd5400 has a couple issues.

Ended up losing the hour meter just after purchasing it and now have a starting system fuse blown.

Hopefully reading through threads and asking questions can help or point me in the right direction.

With Joe's help, I got to tearing the seat assembly off to access the pto and neutral switches.These were the only switches or sensors I hadn't checked.
In doing so I bumped a wire which was spliced in for the audio vox stereo unit.

Replaced fuse, held wire turned the key and she started.

While in there I cleaned the dust and debris up taped the splices wire. Put back together and gave it a good run without any issues.

I also went through many of the jd forums reading what others have had issues with.
