Hello from Northeast Ohio. We farm Concord grapes under contract to Welch’s.

Welcome. We grew some concords and niagara a dozen or so years ago. LOVED walking in the field when they about ripe, like walking in a jelly jar. Ours lasted about 8-10 yrs and just kinda withered out. Our native muscadines have thrived.

Planted some southern variety of concords, they didn't do so well either.

Lots to learn on here and you'll also be helpful to others if you participate.

How many acres do you have? Do you use mechanical harvesters for them? Our PYO farm we have several varieties of fruits and the public pays us for the opportunity to pick fresh fruit. We sure like it that way.
