Hello,
My name is Martin. I'm a semi-retired Professional Forester/ Tree Farmer. I live on the far North coast of California, where I grow Christmas Trees and small saw timber from former Christmas tree plantings from the 1960's.
My tractor is a 1986 Ford 1710 with 3200 hours on the clock that we use for general farming work and for light logging using a Farmi winch.
I'm joining the group to seek advice for a problem my tractor is having, and to share whatever I may have that will be of use to others..

Welcome to TBN and the forum. My first tractor was a 1982 Ford 1700 4WD. Bought it new and kept it until 2009. Traded for my M6040. It was an excellent tractor.
