I'm in the same boat! Bought mine last summer, so 1 year, so far, so good. Lots of good Cub knowledge on here.

Take your exact model/serial numbers from the sticker under the seat and go to the Cub Cadet website. You can get downloadable owner's manuals and parts manuals there.

P.S. Best to post LT1050 stuff under the Cub Cadet L&G sub-forum for the best in responses.
