John Deere 650
I'm a newbie that just aquired a John Deere 650 with loader and converted snow plow. I have 13 acres of land, I plan to use my JD for snow removal. I am from central Maine so I have some concerns that this may not handle the severe cold or the heavy snows. But I will have fun trying. I am pleased to be a part of this group. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum !!! I went to high school in Old Town , lived in Milford while growing up . It won't be long and the snow will be coming again . Good luck with your 650 as it should be just fine . A rear mounted snow blower would be of a great help for those larger storms . I just looked up your tractor and with 14 pto hp and only 2 speed reverse the speed may be to fast for a blower in heavy snow. If someone has one with that set up maybe they will chine in . You might even check you tube and see if there are any videos of a 650 moving snow .
