Hi samt5c. I have the rust problem with my 57 Willys Jeeps so I know what you mean. If you plan to keep the tank after cleaning and/or coating it,
I suggest to use TWO disposable fuel filters in series. I did what I could with epoxy and soldering etc. but with 2 filters which are cheap, you'll be amazed
at what you catch in the second one! Best wishes . . .

Alan7s, I currently have 2 filters in the fuel line plus a shut off. My problem is that it's not coming from the tank as it is stopping up there. I had it cleaned one time and some sort of tank sealant was put in but now I believe the tank sealant is coming off too.
