If your 6030 is similar to my 5530 I removed the side panels, grill guard and then the front grill. Disconnected the head light connections while I removed the grill. Battery well is now exposed. Did all this to attach a electical supply to a control unit for a 350 gal 30' boom sprayer.

Buy dielectric grease and use that. They have small packets at Auto Zone and similar stores. It's designed to be used in "exposed" electrical connections to prevent corrosion. Also a good thing for vehicle head and tail lights, especially in a salt laden area like yours.

You can also buy a larger container that will probably last years. Just remember never to mix up the regular and dielectric grease. You don't want to use it on non-electrical stuff because you can make a low-level "battery".

And :welcome: to TBN.
