Hello! I'm a new member. I've owned three tractors in my life, having two in my possesion now. I recently bought a Massey Ferguson 135 since I didn't want to beat-up my new tractor (New Holland with a cab and loader). I was scratching the cab, folding the mirrors back, etc. The serial number on the Massey is missing (from where I think it should be, below the instrument panel), but I think its around a 1970.
I purchased a power steering kit for my MF 135. The kit was apparently made in Turkey and the installation instructions are very, very unclear. I'm trying to figure out where the "lift connection flange" bolts to the engine block. The "lift" is actually the main cylinder and the connection flange is basically the main anchor for the entire kit assembly.
Doing some internet research, it appears there several different manufacturers of these kits. The one I have is from a company calling themselves "HPS" (Hydraulic Power Steering). All the components are painted black.
Any clues on how this connection flange mounts would be appreciated!
Thanks, Jim
