Hi, I am just joining the forum. Purchased a Bobcat CT230 Compact tractor last year with front end loader and backhoe. Getting alot of work done around the place. I have benefited by reading alot of the posts out there and thought I would join now that I know enought to be dangerous with my rig. I am looking to build a ballast box for my tractor as I have a mig welder and I am pretty savy at using it. BobCat wants way too much money for their box so I am looking for Ideas. Wanted to design one with tubes for shovels, rakes, hooks for logging chains and any other ideas that I have not thought of. Dusty

First of all, welcome to the forum!

If you don't want to build a 3pt attachment, you might try a carry-all:
Northern Industrial 3-Pt. Carry-All Fork Attachment | Tractor Accessories | Northern Tool + Equipment

You can then use that MIG and do some creative stuff. Also, do a couple searches in the forum and you can see some the creative stuff other people have done with theirs.
