New Member with Cub Cadet/Yanmar Sc2450

I have a Cub Cadet/Yanmar Sc2450, and the local dealer has gone out of business. I found this site while searching for filters on-line, and it has already been of great assistance. I would like to mention that the WIX people (WIX Filters, Wix oil filters, WIX air filters, Wix Heavy Duty Oil filters - Home) have been very helpful in cross referencing Cub Cadet and Yanmar part numbers.

Welcome to TBN! My neighbor/coworker has a sc2400 and loves it. I agree, the WIX site and filters are very good. I usually order my filters from Wix Filters & NapaGold Filters: FleetFilter Secure Online Store, they have very good prices.

Welcome to TBN. I've had my sc2400 for 4 yrs now. It's been a great little tractor and for the jobs I'm able to do with it, I wouldn't change it for anything else. My wife loves using it for yard work as it's small enough she can drive anywhere she needs to.

For the air filter, you can't beat the price of the fram CA9248 from Advance Autoparts. The stores around me don't carry them in stock so I just order them.

Another dealer that would be able to drop ship parts to you is Knightdale Tractor located in Knightdale, NC. Shane and the guys there will be more than happy to help you with what you need.

I like my 2450. I don''t like where the hydraulic filter is on the rear axle. Pierced it on a stump. But, does everything I need it for. Hope you enjoy yours.
