Expect to get 2 - 5 acres. I plan to buy a tractor as soon as I get there. So far I like the green ones and the orange ones.

Home Depot rents a Kubota BX25, but I assume in Yorba Linda you would have no where to use it. Go dig up the neighborhood park?

Welcome to TBN. I left the SF Bay Area of CA in 2002 when I discovered East Texas. It took three trips hauling all my junk here, but it was all worth it. If I was to do it over again, I would have gotten rid of more stuff before making the move!!!

Welcome back to Texas, hurry home. There is lots of color available, all with some good points. If possible, buy new, get as much HP and weight as possible. Pretty much everything you need is foreign made but mostly well built. I've sold class 8 diesel trucks for last 25 years & experienced years of issues with the latest emissions. Yes, regeneration is not as bad as it once was, but I choose a tier IV engine that does not require the regeneration process. If you should go that route, you might consider getting a trailer also. Sounds like you have time to study all options.
