Tractor
fordson major diesel
Coldstream, British Columbia
Canada.

I presently own a 1956 Fordson Major Diesel tractor which I have restored and am now restoring a 2 furrow three point hitch plow in order to enter plowing matches next year.
I have also restored a 1950 Field Marshall Series 3, single cylinder, two stroke diesel, tractor and have entered it in a tractor pulling contest in 2012. I am also involved in the
restoration of various small stationary engines which include a 1950 Briggs & Stratton 9 hp 2 man fire pump. The transportation that I use to haul the stuff around is a 2001
Dodge 2500 diesel truck and two axle trailer. I started restoring tractors when I retired 5 years ago and may eventually tackle another tractor such as a late 50s Fordson Dexta.

Glad to have you join us. I think the only time I've seen the name "Perrin" was the Perrin Air Force Base in Texas. I didn't remember just when it closed but when I was in the Air Force ROTC at North Texas State College (now University of North Texas) in 1958, I got to "fly" an F86 simulator there, and got to see them scramble a couple of F86s.:D

Welcome Perrin,
Your projects sound pretty cool. Looking forward to hearing and seeing more about them.
