Just found TBN and signed up. Seems like there is a lot of good knowledge here! I have about 3/4 of an acre that is grass and will be all landscape. Slight hill in the back. We will be cutting grass as we convert to landscape. So. We are in need of a tractor to haul rocks dirt plants etc. I saw a 212 1983 for $325 but no deck. JD dealer said that you cannot find replacement parts for this tractor or they would be very expensive. So first thought is can I find a used deck? Also I see that this model was made for quite awhile so I would assume it is reliable. After all most of my use will be to pull a trailer. What are some thoughts on even older deeded, not really to work hard but to pull a trailer around my yard.Thanks it feels good to be part of this group and hope to help one day.
