New Member from Central Ohio

New member that will be searching for a 25-30 horse compact utility, Used. I am leaning towards either John deere 750,770, 790 or Ford 1710, 1720. I am here to find out about the reputations and reliability of these tractors. I am open to consider other tractors as well.

Welcome to the forum. Have you looked at the Massey Ferguson 1200 series.

Mike R, Thanks. I will have to investigate the 1200 series Massey. Like most, I am asking this tractor to do many things, so finding one that can do them all is asking a lot from any one piece of equipment.

Thanks. I had looked at both Deere and Ford years ago and ended up with an International 444. But, it is too large for my needs now so I sold it. I would have put that IH up against anything in it's class. By just the specs, the Fords have an edge over the John Deeres in a couple of areas. But talk is cheap so I will check them all out thoroughly.

I am hoping to find out here if either the Ford or Deere have any reliabilty problems inherient to them that I need to consider.
