Hello to all the present memebers of this site.
I just aquired my Massey Ferguson 300 backhoe which was part of the deal when I purchased the house here. It is old and in need of some TLC.
I have never owned or operated a backhoe before. Farm tractor yes but when I was much younger.
I am a deisel mechanic by trade and that was also many years ago since I moved into management for the remainder of my career.
I saw this site and thought that I could benefit from being able to speak with others who have far more experience with tractors and equipment.
I own 22 acres of which about 18 is bush. The backhoe would be of real use for me, but as my thread states the thing will not start and I was hoping someone could provide suggestions.
Regardless it is great to see what others are getting into and how there are so many who want to help out.
I look forward to the feed back on any of my problems with the machinery and would like to be able to provide assitance where possible.
