Welcome! Keep reading, there are lots of threads on new tractor purchases. One consideration is what dealers you have around to support your needs. The next consideration is what you will use the tractor to do on your farm?

Welcome from Ontario. I would take a look at Massey Ferguson, Case IH or John Deere.

I may not be able to help much, but it would help those who can to know more about how much land you will be working, topography, ie sloped, flat, mixed, wetlands, dry etc. woods or open land and what you intend to do as in crops, hay, livestock, recreation, forestry.

These and other parameters will help decide on size and horsepower as well as implements. I have found it is often helpful for a brand new owner to rent a tractor for a weekend and work with it to get a feel and baseline for comparison to determine if you need to go bigger or smaller. Neighbors are also a valuable source of information as to type, size, brand dealerships and such.

Welcome to TBN and good luck.:)

I would not buy a John Deere utility tractor. My neighbor has about the same 32 hp but it is a Kubota and it is a workhorse. He has had very little problems, while I have had thousands $$$ of problems.
