New Max 28 owner

Hi all. Been lurking on this board for years as I tried to determine what would be the best tractor for me. After a 3 year search, in which I tested several tractors, I decided on a Mahindra Max 28XL TLB with HST. So far I am thankful I waited for this one, love it! Hope to continue learning from this forum.

How is your max28 doing? any problems? Do you use a bush hog with it? If so, what size?

My Max has been awesome. More tractor than I ever thought it could be. I don't have a bush hog so I can't help you there. I've used a box blade with it and the backhoe. I am extremely happy with my decision to go with the Max.

I just bought a Max25 HST. Long story, but I borrowed a 5 ft bush hog from the dealer to get my "yard" under control. I was able to bush hog three foot high grass and weeds on roughly four acres over the Memorial Day Weekend. About the only thing is watch the temp gauge. There are exterior screens and a screen in front of the radiator that will get "clogged".

And if the temp does rise, don't turn off the engine. Clear the screens and set the speed to idle. The temp will go down.
