Mahindra Max 24
Started out looking at used compact tractors for snow clearing (after the 6+ feet last winter) and landscaping, and decided to look at new units because @ 0% financing, why spend my cash.
Looked at BX25d and CS2410, decided on the Mahindra Max 24 HST, after much research. Basically my choice was based on getting a scaled down real tractor instead of a scaled up lawn tractor. So far I am impressed, after building a trail for the kids ATV's and Dirt bikes. Had a lot of 6-8" stumps and a hill to pull down. It took some hooking around and pulling for some of the stumps, but I realize there are limitations to all equipment.

Congrats! I agree about the lawn tractor dynamic - this is far from the orange models. This is a real tractor. great power and for me fits my needs and uses and sized for my access points around here!

Just did the 50 Hr service. The biggest pain was the HST filter tucked up under the rear end and fender, will have to get a better filter wrench for next time.
My wife loves it. Once she got used to clearing snow with it, she says "the husband will be goin before she gets rid of the tractor".

Wagonboy, I have the Max 22 with a snowblower, and if you can spring for that attachment, you will love it, especially if you get a good snow year.
