Mailboxes and M80's reminds me of my neighbors when I was growing up.
Never did get the full story, assumption was that it involved a jilted/jealous boyfriend of the daughter.
Anyway, this smart soul decide to blow up the mailbox, but mistimed things and blew out the window on their car., glass all over the road by the mailbox.
But it gets better, turns out there was a family of skunks living under the house, which when startled by the explosion did what skunks do.
Not sure where the family went, but they found another place to stay for a few days until the house aired out.
Not sure if they ever caught the mad bomber.
