So I had been leaning towards a Kioti CK2610, primarily because I like the larger framed tractors but wanted to avoid any DPF. Well now I realize that I am about 15 minutes away from a Mahindra/Case dealer. Well today I drove a new 2638 HST. They quoted me $24,200 for tractor (rops), loader and 2 rear remotes. What is everyone's thoughts on this tractor and how does that price sound?

I don’t know about the price, but whenever I drive by our Mahindra dealer I see that 2638 Cab tractor sitting out front and think to myself, “that sure is a nice size”. I think that’s one of the models that’s built by TYM.

Not sure about your area's ? dealers, But you can get a CK 2610 with a BH for only $500 more. Is the Mahindra that much bigger?

I went Kioti because they build all their tractors. I really liked the specs on the Mahindra but was scared away by all the different manufactures they where using to build their tractor. Both are great tractors but IMO Kioti will be easy to get parts for 20 years down the road where depending on the current relationship Mahindra has with whomever built the tractor leaves you in the unknown.
