Kubota LX331HSDC (hers) and L45 (mine), RTV1100 (hers)
Well, after waiting several weeks, finally got my wife's replacement tractor. After 20 years of faithful service, the B2710HSD found a new home (only had 675 hours). After test driving the LX3310 for a few hours, I think she is going to like the major upgrade, the cab. As we both have aged a little, the heat and dust is really starting to get us after mowing the pasture and yard.

Got it with the R14s, not sure about them yet as they are kind of bouncy, I always liked the R4s, but time will tell. Also got the 54" bucket as that is what they recommended but it seems small on the front of the tractor, so I am thinking about swapping for the 60" light duty bucket.

Not sure they could cram anything else under the hood, so I bet working on the motor is a pain...

If the LX3310 was around 5 years ago, I would have likely gone that route. Nice machine. There are several YouTube channels that feature the LX tractors if you're interested.

Congrats!!! The LX is an awesome tractor!

I’d go with the 60” bucket in that machine.

Well, after a few more hours of operation, the R14s definitely have a different feel and not sure they grip any better in grass or dirt. If you air them up to the OM pressures (30 psig), they ride better but look like balloons and are very rounded. If I air down to something that seems reasonable (14-20 psig), they are bouncy to a level that feels dangerous even with loaded tires. The R4s always felt rock solid...

Bingo regarding the R14Ts.

I posted here several months ago about the ballooning of the new R14T tires, especially, the optional, oversize ones available on the ROPS models.

When a tractor with R4s is sitting alongside another of the same model with R14Ts, the ballooning is so obvious as to slap one in the face.

I have a b3350 with the 60” bucket. That bucket size is fine on that machine. I have used it to load customers at our mulch yard with small truck beds. Other than a full bucket of process gravel, it will lift other materials. I do have weighted rear tires

Congrats! I had a B 3350 cab and loved it. Great heater and a/c. Downsized to a BX due to old age and reduction in use.
