New LK 3054XS Delivered Yesterday!

After looking around and lurking here for a while I finally took the plunge and bought my first tractor. Spent some time on it at home yesterday and totally convinced that this is a great tractor. I got the KL 1231 FEL, 5 ft King Kutter Brush Hog, and 6ft Muratori Finish Mower. I wasn't sure about the brush hog and mower, can anybody give me any feed back on them. I looked at used JD 970 with FEL and then went and got the whole package from my Kioti dealer for just a tick more than the other dealer wanted for the abused and over used JD and new brush hog!

Very nice outfit you got there. I don't know anything about your finish mower. King Kutter has a decent reputation, if you don't abuse it.

Good thinking! The King Kutter should serve you well. Just make sure you check the oil level in the mower to make sure it's right. As a matter-of-fact, check ALL the levels in the tractor and any implement, get a grease gun and make sure all the zerks have been greased. Sometimes the dealer may miss something. Thanks for the advice about the grease fittings. Went out to do a little brush hogging and checked all of the grease fittings first. Found two that were still painted over and needed some grease. The King Kutter sounds like the right piece of equipment for my needs. I told the dealer that I would mostly be clearing high grass in the fields I don't plan to keep up with all that often. I also tried out the Muratori finish mower. I was very impressed the cut. My dealer said that he has good luck with this one and it has the convenience of remote grease fittings to the spindle bearings so you don't have to take any covers off to lube them. I will post a few more photos of shots that KiotiJohn hasn't covered yet.

Thanks for adding those with the loader. It's a nice bucket isn't it? My dealer hadn't put a loader on that model yet.
The power in that little tractor is amazing to me. John
