"Production on the new line will begin in the second quarter of 2015 in Kubota’s new plant in France. The facility is estimated to produce 3,000 tractors by 2017 for distribution in the U.S., Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and Japan.". -agriculture.com

Why did they choose France? Anyone know?

I guess that is why they are limiting available units to dealers Tom. My dealer said they are allotted 11 M7's. And guys are already fighting over them.
I can't wait to see them in person.

I really like that new R630 wheel loader too.

My guess is because they know they can sell those 3000 units in Europe, so if sales in the US don't pan out, then it's not an embarrassment for K. Rather, they can regroup & try again after they find out why US sales didn't materialize. I see it as a risk mitigation strategy.
Taking this speculation a step further, if US sales meet or exceed expectations, I'd expect to see a US plant in the news within a few years.
I'm looking forward to seeing the M9s!

I'm SOLD!
The specs on the B2601 are amazing, everything I need and then some, plus no DPF garbage!
I hope the prices are in line with the B2620, and I will buy one.

My dealer and Kubota Canada web site show the same price for the new and old B. But I imagine the loader bucket quick attach and remotes are extra, so that's where it may add up a bit. I only put one rear remote on my B2620....now I'll be able to have two!!!
Anyone know if they will still have the small dynamo? I added the 40A alternator to my B2620....wonder if they upgraded the B2601?

For my 2650 the ratchet style 3pt adjuster and 3rd function valve were additional paid extras, not standard. Telescoping stabilizers sure are nice, wish I got the quick attach/extending arms, whatever that option is called - that should come standard on the 50 series with the stabilizer arms.

Unless they corrected it, the Canadian web site was showing the new B2601 CHEAPER than the B2620. Maybe it was a typo? Anyway, my dealer has them at the same.

[I'm talking just the base price for the tractor. The extra remotes and loader quick attach will make them more for sure.]

Either way, I'm still getting one, lol.

Paystar, I can't find a "Model B2601" at any Kubota site. What's up with that? I'm must be doing something wrong.

Products: Power Equipment Kubota Canada Ltd.

They're only on the Canadian site so far.

Hahaha.......I see they corrected and inflated the price now, lol. I'm holding my dealer to the other price, LOL.

It's weird that they are not on the US site yet. Maybe somebody has not gotten back from their vacation, or they are busy coming up with a Spring promotion type thing.

:licking: Time to go have the fight with the old wallet and the Mrs. They usually win, but I have an ace up my sleeve....

I just purchased a new 2015 B2650ROPS. My dealer tried to sell me the one with the two speed HST as a new model, but I went on the Kubota site and saw the actual 2015 has the three speed HST. Mine came with the fixed 54" front bucket. The dealer is installing a 54" Gearmore rear box blade with a Gearmore three spool for the box blade. I believe Gearmore products are better built than Landpride from Kubota.

Quick question. Where is the 2015 B2650 built?

Japan parts and sub assembly, loader built in Georgia, everything assembled at your dealer (they ship in a crate).

Ever since the late 2013 introduction, the 2650 has had a 3-range HST, so I am not sure what you're saying about the HST.

My dealer has a brand new B2650 with a two speed (High/Low) HST. The fuel cap is centered, not offset. I believe Kubota made a mid year change and is calling it a 2015 vs a 2014 machine. Once I looked at the 2015 Kubota site I said no way. I want the three speed HST.
