Hello,
I am new owner of L3940. I think it is 2008 and it has about 800 hours on it. I love it.
I am still getting to know this tractor and don't have a lot of previous tractor experience. It came with a hydraulic top link and I would like to use the rear remotes with my 3pt hydraulic log splitter. Problem is, when I hook up my log splitter and hook into the rear remote, the control for the rear remotes doesn't lock - I can move it to either side, but then it returns to center and doesn't provide any hydraulic pressure. I have attached a picture of this lever.
What can I do about this? Can I just use a bungee cord and "lock" it in one position? I was worried this might be bad for something. Other options?
Any help greatly appreciated...
