New Kubota L-4610 FEL question??

I am still awaiting delivery of my 4610 and I am curious as to what one does for a bucket level indicator for bucket use when you use a 4 in one bucket as opposed to the factory bucket? Is this made on the loader or is the new after market bucket come with it?

Mr BeeBop, I'm not sure what you mean. Does the standard bucket have a level indicator? Many buckets will have a plate on top, welded to either side that is parallel to the bottom of the bucket and quite frankly, that works really well for me, especially after you move some dirt and familirize yourself with it. My L48 does have a sight tube on the right. Perhaps this is to what you are refering too. It can be very handy when the tractor bucket is on level ground and you want fairly precise control of the cutting lip. Other then that, I find getting the feel for the bucket position is something you aquire pretty quickly with practice. My L48 came with green and white reflective strips on those two flat plate on top of the loader. I guess the previous owner or the dealer added them. They work so well that I've never even looked at the sight tube.

Rat, After a lot of leg work I have found the sight rod to be an option for the loader. I have always had this particular set-up and it works extremely well for me when doing fine grading work. I have mine being shipped in overnight to be installed on my tractor tomorrow..we hope. Thanks for the advice all.

I have a 4610 cab and can't see a darn thing in front of my bucket. I have 4n1 bucket. Love what i can do with it but can never see where teeth are and how level bucket is
