New Kioti Hydrostatic Transmission Slow? - NX5010 HST

Hello all - Been a while since I've been on here. Just got another tractor a couple of weeks ago and the hydrostatic transmission seems slow to respond. I've owned many different hydrostatic driven mowers and tractors, but this one is the slowest to respond. Maybe have 10 hours on the unit. I first noticed it when I was mowing but thats mostly forward stuff so it did not bother me too bad. Then I did some loader work and noticed it more. If was very frustrating having to wait for a second for the tractor to switch directions. Its unlike any other tractor I own or have owned. I have turned the dial on the control panel up, and this did help, but it still lags. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

There were even A few times the system would get confused and I could literally push the pedal down and nothing would happen. I think this maybe a separate issues. It only happened a few times, but it still happened.

I've had my NX4510 for a year now and the lag (mine is more a split second) doesn't bother me anymore. The confusion on backing up? - that's a problem which for me always occurs when I inadvertently depress both pedals at the same time - then the lag is a couple of seconds - not a problem unless you are working around a burning brush pile and then it's anxiety producing and potentially dangerous.

Check position of response on right side control knob it functions as a response control.

I still can't figure out why the reverse pedal is where all other vehicles made in the world place forward pedals.
