New Kawasaki Pro FXT (traded Kubota RTV X1120D)

Well I just traded my 8 month old Kubota RTV X1120D for a Kawasaki Pro Fxt ESP LE today. The Kubota is a nice machine (as all Kubota's are!) but just didn't fit my needs/wants. I made the switch because I both work and play and wanted more speed available and really like the layout and convertibility of the Kawasaki. I had a few issues with the 1120D as well. It was in the shop for about 3 weeks in the first 8 months which was a bit frustrating.They were not major issues but in order to fix anything on the Kubota, you have to take everything apart pretty much. The issues were leaks and most of the problem was related to a recall on clamps for the radiator hoses. It took a long time to figure it out. My dealer was persistent and I appreciate it (I still have 2 Kubota tractors that I LOVE that he takes care of for me as well). I was getting toward the end of warranty and this is the first time I have ever been concerned about that with a Kubota product. I also am still concerned that my dealer said the oil was "milky" when he did the first service oil change at 50 hours. I never had a good explanation for that. My equipment is stored in my shop and never in the elements when parked. With the Kawasaki, I have a 3 year factory warranty so feel pretty good about that. Anyway, I am NOT bashing Kubota (a loyal fan of theirs actually), I was just not happy with my RTV and worried about future repair bills. I just wanted to share my experience in case it might be helpful to anyone else. I am looking forward to hopefully breaking in the new UTV and moving on....PICS attached of the trailer ride home and more details to follow. It was alot of fun playing with it today and I LOVED the extra room! I had 3 people and 2 dogs comfortably riding in just the front seat.

nice bike ..i did the same traded up from the rhino to the Polaris 900 xp ..and here its hard to inc a kubota side by side ..the rhino topped out at 48 mil the ranger ,,i have not topped out yet .been up to 65 mil big difference .you have fun in your new play toy work horse

Nice machine;Kawaski makes very good products.I have had a 400 Prairie ATV since 1998 and it still runs well.My SIL has a Teryx ,also has been very good.

Congratulations on a very nice machine!!! When I was shopping around, I had it narrowed down between the Transmule 4010 and the Kubota. Cost was more for the Kubota, but I felt the Kawasaki was a better design and fit for what I wanted it for. This past Fall, my wife and I went on a guided hunt near Sonora TX and the guide had a brand new Pro that was just amazing in what it could do, and how comfortable it was. The country down there is rocky desert with cactus and scrub brush every where. It's hard to just walk through it, but the Mule Pro made it look easy. I had no clue how handy those doors where until we started driving through all the cactus. I hate what they cost, but will look at them for sure when I decide to replace my Transmule!!!!

Know what you mean;my new Yamaha Viking only has 8 miles on it;been too nasty out to use it yet.Nice choice of tractors by the way!
