Kama TS354C
Well I made it back from NY with my new TS354C. Its was a nice deal, I was a little skeptical after all the research I did on these but 6K was really nice. I do have some problems with it though, I dont know much about these particular tractors. There is oil leaking from under the seat!! I assume its the hydrolic oil. It seems to be coming from the right side underneath that "piston like" part where there are 4 nuts on the bottom. I hear there is some tightening I may need to do. Also the oil gauge bounces from zero to high? Any kind words of wisom? Other than that it seem to be a strong tractor.

Hi AR15Mike.
Glad to hear that you got her home okay and a good deal at that.
Sorry I can't help you on the leak, but I know you'll get some help here from guys with the same equipment.

Check your oil levels and evaluate the source of the suspected leak. Sometimes it is as simple as overfilling. Track down your oil senser and tighten the lug nuts. It sounds like an intermittent connection. Also check the gauge wires for tightness. The problems you describe are usually minor but somewhat intimidating for a new owner.

Mike it sounds like it's the hyro fluid, either over-filled or the wrong type of fluid. In mine (354C) you need to use the ANTI-FOAMING fluid. As far as tightening goes all I've had to do was tighten the lug bolts and even then it wasn't very much but I got mine used with 38 hours on it. I haven't really done anything to mine because when I bought it, I lived in the city and it was parked on the side of my house. Now since I sold my home I moved it to the ranch and have used it a few times up there in the past 2 months. The beast is kinda like a Sherman tank with wheels, rarely does it even bog down even when I'm using the FEL with the toothbar on it to dig into the soil up there, and the soil up there is just 1 level softer than concrete. All my gauges work fine so I can't help you out there, if you got any sort of books with it you'll soon find out they're not good for electrical. My time here is VERY short, at the end of next month I'm officially moved to the ranch and have no access to the net at all. So since we both have the same tractor I can post pics if that will help you just let me know.
