I just got a new 5085E with a loader and a cab. Nice rig - really like the 540 economy PTO.
I was backing up with a box blade and it dug into the ground and broke the housing (rockershaft housing for lower link control) where the upper link attaches to draft sensor. When I say broke, I mean the whole back of the housing separated. I've had this blade on several other tractors - both smaller and bigger and never had anything like this happen. Just wondering if this was a fluke incident or if anyone else has seen this.

some of the Deere's have a lot of aluminum castings in the rear end area. Perhaps yours is aluminum?

Pretty sure those are all much smaller machines...
