New John Deere 322 Owner - first time!

Greetings All, I just became a new John Deere Owner about a month ago. Bought the unit at an auction! It included 46" deck, 49 snow thrower, wheel weights, 2 sets of chains, rear leaf bagger and a rear JD "rock box"? Anyway the bidding was stalled out at $1400 for just the tractor and Mower deck, I ended up with that part of the auction for $1500. The snow thrower, chains and box for another $350. I went thru the snow thrower, installed new bearings, chain and fixed up the auger (it was in sorry shape)! New plugs, hydraulic flush, oil change, the unit has less than 1500 hours and is a 1991 vintage. Any tips on what the rock box would be used for?

Rocks maybe? For ballast, especially when the snow thrower is on the front. They also work great used as a garbage can when mowing ditches, a wheelbarrow when gardening, or a tool carrier when a project comes around.
