The price the dealer gave you for the 4300 is fair. It represents only a 4.6% profit for the dealer, which isn't very good for the dealer. In my opinion, the 4310 is only about $700 more than the 4300, and I think all-in-all it would be a much better value for you.

I am currnetly in the market for a compact model and have looked at the JD 4100, HST, MFWD with
410 Loader. My local JD dealaer is asking $15650. I am also interested is a rear 60" rear mount mowing
deck. Again, my local dealer is asking $2150 for the "Landpride" 60" 15-60 HD. Can you beat these prices?
What are shipping fees to Western Washington (Everett)?
Also, is the 4100 model adequet for my 5 acres hores property (mowing, moving dirt, gravel, manure,etc)?

WOW--your local dealer is trying to make his monthly overhead on your sale. Seriously, I can sell you the same tractor @ $14440 w/ 410 loader, and the Landpride 1560 side discharge mower @ $1619. I really don't know what freight rates would be, what truck lines run to Wash? Please call me @ 402-238-2211 if you have any questions-ask for Ron.
Cornhuskerdeere, What do you think of this deal, New 4710 mfwd, folding rops, r-4's, all the hydraulics including the electric diverter valve (for 3 outlets on rear) hydraulic 3pt arm, basicly every other option other then mid pto, no loader, hoe or mowers for $26,500.00. I would like to buy local but if I am talking serious difference I will reconsider and your prices seem good, Thanks for your time!

I like your price on the JD 4100 @ $14440. What is your best price on a Land Pride model FDR2560
(60" rear discharge mower)? Is "Land Pride" worth the extra price versus buying "Woods"?

I own several implements made by both Woods and Landpride. They are all excellent quality. I wouldn't choose one over the other in terms of quality or servicibility. Between these two, I'd just buy the brand that I could get the best price on.
