Does anyone know anything solid about what the new financing offers will be? They are 48 months and 0% right now expiring March 2. I am just wondering what the new terms will be. Interested in a 3038e and trying to make a decision.

Thanks,
Matt

Don't know.

Given the current economy and forecasts I am betting on an extension.

Hiya,

I'm looking at a 3320, dealer told me he got word the new offers aren't as good and I should buy it this weekend, I took it with a grain of salt....

Tomd, I hear you, while I am currently in the market for a new unit I am going to hold out for awhile to see if better discounts become available. If not then I will pass.

Thanks for the replies. I will wait a bit more myself. I am lucky to be wanting a tractor and not needing a tractor.

I got a quote today for 60 months at 1.9%. Which comes out to be appx. $826 in interest as opposed to 48 months at 0% which is $0 in interest. Gee Wally, not much of a choice there.

Your dealer should be able to date his sale. Whne I bought my 3720 the incentives were changining. My dealer said he could go backlwards on incentives about 2 days after they come out. I went from 36 months at Zero to 48 overnight. IMHO, a good dealer will not try and push you, unless he can show you deals will not be as good.

I just sent in a credit application today, which the dealer is processing tomorrow. He says this will cover me through next week and the new terms. If the new terms are better, I can take the new terms, if terms remain the same or are worst I just stick with what I have.

Thanks for the replys. Good to know you have a choice. I will start to firm things up with my dealer.

Exactly, just go ahead and have your dealer run the credit and if the terms get better then you can switch over, if they get worse you are locked in.

Ended up getting a pretty good deal on a used tractor locally, about 1.5 miles from my house.

17500 for a 2006 model 3720 with a 300X loader and a canopy. 356 hours. Driven over and delivered to my place.

Thanks everyone,

I will be back with many questions on maintenance and how to do things.

Thanks,
Matt Hester

Hiya,

Well, the 0 for 48 is gone and it's 0 for 36 now. I notice it's only for a month, maybe Deere is going to see if sales hold up with the shorter term and if not, maybe bring back the longer term. We can only hope.

I tried to make a deal for either a demo 3120 or a new 3320 but the dealers close to me were not willing to budge more than 5% off of list on the new 3320 or even worse, list + shipping and setup on the demo model 3120 w/ close to 200 hours on it. With the attitude I received, you would think the economy is going like gangbusters and money is everywhere.

I'm looking at the NH Boomer series now, they have a 0 for 60, may go blue, never know.

I am sure the blue crowd will be more than willing to take your money, unless you can find a nicer green dealer.

Either way, keep us posted.

Cant blame you in the least, on a new 4520 cab tractor I am getting 18% off of list. I am waiting to see if my friend buys the older tractor before I sign up.

If it were me I would check on other dealers to find one who wants to sell tractors.

That is a nice discount. I assume that JD absorbs the discount, and NOT the dealer??

Dont know who is absorbing the discount but this was with 48 mo/0% financing. I would assume though the dealer is lowering his margin since I am ordering the tractor with my option list. Have no idea what kind of rebates are being offered to the dealers.

I don't know what Deere is thinking, but they should have at LEAST kept the0% for 48 Months! They have a good product, but man there are alot of better deals out there than 0% for 36 months!
