Wow those prices aren't that bad at all. I thought that the prices would be alot more than they are. For all the extras these tractors are putting together in the package it's definitely ahead of the field.
Do not get me started on that. I think i may have considered the 4010, which definitely seems to be targeted at teh BX series, and it has a folding ROPS for $129, maaaaann,, I really want one of those things, but I gotta find one that fits my 4100.
The eMatch Operating System?? /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif I have visions of having to stop periodically and reboot! Or engaging the PTO and getting the blue screen of death. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
Let's hope Microsoft didn't write any code for this. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Sorry Nuru, they're actually way overpriced and will only run on rocket fuel. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
I currently have all JD lawn equipment, and an older Kubota. I had planned on keeping everything green but a great orange deal came along. Anyhow, to my question - does Kubota have a tractor that compares to the 790?
I never realized how reasonable that tractor was - it seems perfect for my needs in the future (my little kubota is fine for now)
This fly-by-wire technology has been around for some time on the large loaders and excavators. Its for sure not new technology. Most of the auto makers use the electronic/electric shifting on their 4wd. I'm not worried...well not too worried !!!
Having driven a 4300 for a weekend and nearly bruising the ball of my right foot from the hydro pedal pressure, I'm hoping that the new technology will work. The hydro pedal design was the biggest thing keeping me from buying the JD over orange or blue (except the price, of course).
I did receive an email from a dealer stating that only 1000 of the 4x10s are around, but that production is underway. Was told that an order should be placed soon to be able to get one in the Spring. I really don't want to spend that kind of money without driving one. Has anyone driven one of these tractors yet? If so, impressions?
