Just saw and ad in our local paper for our local JD dealer...Brand New 45 HP JD with FEL $12,900 cash or 0% financing...Sounds like a good deal to me..

Green South...They have about 5 dealerships in the South...all in Georgia I believe..One in Athens, Ga and another in Madison, Ga. that I know of.

Here is what the ad says..> 5045D Utility tractor $12,499 but they show a picture of it with a FEL but as I read the small print it does not say the FEL is included..so that is a little deceptive since when I first looked at the ad I assumed it included what I was looking at in the picture..

They also have a 2305 $9,999 and a 3032E for $12,999

$15,240.00 is a base price for 2WD, no FEL.

-15% puts you at $12,954 so I guess that price is not out of line

$12,499.00 is a cash price on a select number of rental return 5045D's that we have in inventory...that price does not include a loader. I will tell you though we are almost out of them...

DennisH remember that "base price" you are talking about does not includes any freight or set-up either...which are real charges that really affect a dealer's "net cost"!

It varies from dealer to dealer...obviously shipping cost depends on the dealers vacinity to the factory the piece of equipment is coming from. Set-up charges also vary depending on piece of equipment.
