New JD 3320

I got a quote today on a JD3320 as follows: JD 3320 w/eHydro, R4 tires, Agco alum. sun canopy, 300CX bucket, 1560 5' box blade, and mx5 5' rotary cutter for $23,133.60. How does that sound for pricing? Just curious. It seems to be a pretty good deal, but I don't really know that much about John Deere's price in comparison to, say, Kubota or Massey Ferguson.

Thanks for the info. Mine didn't have the forks, but it did have a 5' box blade and an aluminum sunshade. Also, this guy said he orders all his tractors with a slip clutch (or something like that) so you don't have to be dependent on shear bolts for protection on the rotary cutter; it just slips and goes on. Also, this was delivered. I also could have dropped $600 on the price of the rotary cutter if I wanted a Land Pride cutter instead of a JD cutter. Dropping the $600 for the upgraded rotary cutter, that would put them almost the same. Mid-PTO was another $380 option.

Sounds like about the same deal all in all.

I've been lurking and learning on this site now for over a year.....first post!

I have also decided on the 3320 after MUCH thought. I recently recieved 2 quotes from 2 dealers within 15 miles from my home. The quote was for the 3320 e-hydro, 300cx FEL, Larger R4 tires, and telescoping link arms. Without tax one quoted me $20,600 and the other $19,850.

One salesman (the one with the cheaper price) told me that I don't need the 300cx loader on the 3320.....that the 3320 doesn't have the hydraulic flow to take advantage of the 300cx capabilities. He suggested that I go with the 300x loader and use the savings on an implement.

Don't listen to the salesman about the 300cx! Get the 300cx and don't settle for less!!!! MUCH BETTER LOADER! And yes the 3000 Twenty's take advantage of the capabilities of the 300cx!

The salesman did admit that the 300cx was a better loader, and I told him that the 300cx was "recommended by a freind who knows ALOT about tractors" !

He was insistent that I didn't require the 300cx . I'm still saving some coins and waiting for the better financing before I make my purchase.......but it WILL be a 3320 .

That dealer probably has 300x in stock that he can't get rid of. It has happened before.
Make sure to get extra hydraulics, you may discover you need them in the future. JC

i purchased the 3320 last year with the 300x. I was told similar stories about not needing the cx. Although i like bigger and better for my needs i have not found anything that i needed anything better than the 300x. I would say take a long hard look at what you will really need the FEL to do and make a decission. It is very possible the x will do and you can put money toward another implement.

MUCH BETTER LOADER!!

I would say if you are paying the same money get the 300CX. If he can work a deal on an instock 300X then maybe he might want to think about that. I am pretty sure I can do at least what most of the tbn 300CXs can do here with my 300X.

I would go for the 300cx. There are typically times you want to operate without the loader on the tractor and getting on and off in minutes is a great feature.
